The Student Visa, subclass 571is a temporary visa that is granted to students who intend to study at primary, junior secondary and senior secondary schools. The visa is also granted to those who intend to visit Australia on an approved student exchange program at the secondary schooling level. To get the subclass 571 Student visa, the student must furnish a filled up Acceptance Advice of Secondary Exchange Student (AASES) form.

Student Exchange Program
Student exchange program is a reciprocal program where only registered exchange program organizers are allowed to initiate the exchange process. The key responsibility is to look after the safety and security of the students. A host school providing the curriculum to the students would ensure that:

Minimum academic learning and performance results are met.
School has the capacity to meet the student exchange program.
