We will record your e-mail address only if you send us a message. Your personal information will only be used for the purposes for which you have provided it. Your e-mail address will not be added to a mailing list, unless you have provided it to us in order to subscribe to the AA’s newsletter.

Where you choose to send us a completed electronic form that includes your personal details, we collect personally identifiable information, such as name, address and email address.

The information collected by email or electronic forms will be used only for the purpose for which you provided it, and we will not disclose it without your consent, except where authorised or required by law.

We will only publish personal information on this site if it has been collected for this purpose with your knowledge. Once the information is published on this site, we will have no control over its subsequent use and disclosure though.

No attempt will be made to identify users or their browsing activities, except in the unlikely event that a law enforcement (or other government) agency exercises a legal authority to inspect ISP logs (eg, by warrant, subpoena, or notice to produce).
AAwill measure and analyse its internet usage to ensure the site meets its objectives with advertisers and users.
This is basically to:
• Provide its core services, particularly those associated with student services
• Track the provision of services
• Improve/adjust specific service areas
The usage figures are collected anonymously and may comprise (not limited to):
• The number of page views (or page impressions)
• The number of unique visitors and their average time spent on the site
• Common entry and exit points

AA will only disclose information for the purpose for which it was collected, and where appropriate, after obtaining the necessary consent from the individual. Information may be disclosed for other purposes, with the specific consent of the individual to do so or, if required by law.

AA aims to prevent the misuse or loss of this information, or unauthorised disclosure, access to, or modification of this information. Where the information is held in electronic form, access will be controlled by user logins and passwords.

All staff of AA are subject to confidentiality obligations as part of their conditions of employment.

Any individual has the right to request access at any time to the personal information that AA holds about that person. This access will be refused if AA cannot be satisfied as to the identity of the person requesting that access. Australien-Ausbildung can refuse to provide access to personal information where the Privacy Act allows it to do so.

Any individual can request AA to modify or correct personal information once this information has been collected from individuals who enquired, applied for, or registered their names with AA. Where the request is raised, Australien-Ausbildung will aim to respond to it five working days of the receipt of the request. All requests for access to personal information will be responded to in writing, and will be recorded separately.
