Diploma of Arts (Interior Decoration and Design) Duration: 2 years full time

About the course:
In this course, students with an interest in interior decoration and design can develop knowledge and skills to work in this exciting professional field. Technical, CAD and freehand drawing skills are taught together with Product Knowledge, Oral Communications and Art History to prepare the students for client presentation. Both domestic and commercial projects are covered
in this two-year full-time course.
Course Outcomes:
Students may seek employment as: interior design consultants operating either from specialised retail outlets or individually; contract commercial specialists; employees of interior design departments of domestic or commercial building companies; or assistants in architectural practices.
Pre-requisites:
Good passes at Year 11 level or the overseas equivalent including passes in Art and Design and preferably some relevant work experience
English language proficiency level of IELTS 5.5, ISLPR 2+, TOEFL 197 (Computer based) or equivalent.
