Overview

Almost every Australian household owns a computer, and every business in Australia has computers. Really there isn't a better time to be starting a career in Information Technology or IT. Technology is developing rapidly, unfortunately not all of us are technically minded here is where being an IT specialist helps. The Australian College of Information Technology is a privately owned institute specialising in teaching their students how to start a career in the field of Information Technology.

Location

The Australian College of Information Technology has two campus's, one in Brisbane (the capital of Queensland 'the sunshine state') as well as a campus south of Brisbane at the Gold Coast. The Gold Coast is a beautiful spot, it has fantastic beaches and many theme parks which attract tourists from through out Australia as well as from around the world. Queensland has a great tropical climate, both these locations are close to all amenities. Queensland is a quieter state offering more affordable accommodation but still offering the big city advantages as well as having easy access to Australia's other major capitals.

Campus

The campus's belonging to Australian College of Information Technology are both ideally located close to all amenities and in thriving cities. Whilst the campus's are smaller this helps with the specialist approach to learning, with teachers readily available to assist students. Brisbane campus has on offer all the usual city attractions with shopping, entertainment and eateries all readily available as well as public transport. The Gold Coast has the major city attractions as well as public transport, theme parks and beaches all on its door step.

Courses

ACIT or the Australian College of Information Technology offers its IT courses either on campus part time or full time as well as by correspondence.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements other then successful completion of Year 10 schooling.

Students need suitable English proficiency to enter a course; an IELTS overall score of 5.5 is usually necessary

Enrolment Dates

Students are able to enrol at the College at the beginning of semester, there are two semesters a year one starting in February and one in July.
